It includes mountain wilderness, villages, waterfalls, high altitude tea plantations and trails to enjoy the pale pink Taiwan and snow-white Fuji cherry blossoms.
1 lunch will be at the Kalibun Restaurant to taste some of the Bunun special food in the Wangxiang tribe and 1 hot pot typical dinner.
The cherry blossoms bloom gradually from December to March in the Alishan National Scenic Area. However it blooms from mid March to April. March is also the best time to enjoy wisterias.
With your English speaking (any other language on request) licensed guide/driver, you will get the chance to explore the beautiful area of Alishan.
Cherry Blossom Viewing Locations:
♦ From mid March to mid April: Meiyuan, Alishan Police Station, Hiking Entrance of Zhushan Trail, Zhaoping Station, Zhaoping Park, Giant Tree Cluster Trail, Three-generation Tree Cherry Blossom Trail
♦ From December to March: Shizhuo Cherry Blossom Trail, Xiding Lookout, Xiding Eryanping Trail, Linji Chashan (54.6 km), Mituochan Temple.

Descriptions |Alishan Applause B&B” is located on Alishan Leye Fushan Tribal Misty Trail and Fushan Ancient Road.
Between the Paradise Area and Fenchi Lake, it takes about 30-40 minutes to drive to Alishan Recreation Area and Fenqi Lake. In the quiet mountains and fields, travelers can drift into a deep sleep accompanied by the sound of endless croaking frogs, the cool fresh air, and the stars lingering in the night sky, returning to the purest, most stress-free life possible. The rooms are spacious, simple, but clean and nicely decorated. Some of the rooms have a balcony to enjoy the sea of clouds in the quietness of your room.
This is a great spot to enjoy Alishan mountain away from the crowds!
Day 1
Taichung /Chayi– Alishan
In the morning ( around 08.00 )
Pick up at the Taichung hotel or Taichung or Chiayi HSR Train station.Transfer with a licensed English speaking guide/driver to Alishan, stop along the way for lunch at the Kalibun Restaurant to taste some of the Bunun special food in the Wangxiang tribe. ( Set menu: aboriginal, western or vegetarian can be chosen ).
After lunch, on the way to Alishan there are some nice Japanese style hot spring spots ( not included ). The area is also famous for its production of high mountain tea and wasabi, notably Tea and carvings and handicrafts made from red cypress.
On the way to Alishan, stop in Elephant mountain national Scenic area to learn about tea culture and magnificent view.
Arrival at the B&B and check in at the hotel.

Day 2
Alishan - Taichung o Chayi
Early in the morning wake up to watch the sunrise in Fukuyama ( It is about 15 minutes on foot near the homestay )
Back to the hotel and breakfast.
Check out and take the road to the Alishan Sakura Trail or Xiding Lookout or Eryanping Trail to enjoy the pale pink Taiwan and snow-white Fuji cherry blossoms.
On the way back – if time allows – you can chose to stops along the road; there are several train stations with small villages and old street markets as well as stunning tea plantations or you can decide to visit the Yuyupass Tribe to learn about tea and coffee culture ( Entrance ticket not included TWD 300, please pay for your guide ).
Back to Taichung or Chiayi HSR and end of services.

Price includes:

PLEASE NOTE:
- Tipping is generally not expected in Taiwan; however it is always appreciated to tip and shows your gratitude for a quality service.
- To confirm the reservation a deposit of 30% is required, final payment has to be done at least one week before the tour starts.
- Due to the very limited hotel choice of B&B, we suggest to book this tour as earlier as possible.
