EXPERIENCE – SUP in Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake is a fairly calm water, especially before the sightseeing boat opens in the early morning. The mist in the mountains in the morning is like being in an environment that can touch the soul. There is no noise, quietly rowing on the lake, talking to yourself, and sinking into nature.

Learn SUP in calm waters is the most effective way to be ready for the more challenging open waters. To succeed SUP, you need to control the core balance, let the body get used to the board’s response on the lake and learn to drive in the direction you want to go in.  You can enjoy the fun of this experience with family and friends and you can also bring your pet!

Before each experience, you will go over the very basics including: board info, getting on and off your board, understanding weather and wind conditions and tides, standing up on your board, and basic paddling and equipment. The ecological and unique environment of Sun Moon Lake will be explored during the experience.
