Day 1
Rinari Community in Majia Township
► Pick-up at Taichung HSR station Exit #2 at 9:00 am. Meet your licensed English speaking guide.
► Head to Rinari (Rukai tribe) community for lunch and community tour. (This community was hard hit by a typhoon and is now living in permanent housing constructed of wood. );
► Check-in at Shan Zhong Tian Guesthouse;
► Dinner in a local home or in a restaurant nearby;
► Overnight at Shan Zhong Tian Guesthouse.
Day 2
Shenshan Community in Wutai Township
► Breakfast at the B&B;
► Spend the day with artist Lebon where we will learn about traditional uses of plants, make a traditional Paiwan dish (cilavu) and make a Paiwan bead bracelet;
► Check-in at Shenshan Hunter’s Hut Guesthouse;
► Dinner ( depending on what is available, your guide will introduce you some places to have dinner )
► Overnight at Shenshan Hunter’s Hut Guesthouse.
Day 3
Sandimen Township.
► Breakfast at the B&B;
► Tour of Shenshan Community with guest house owner;
► Lunch ;( depending on what is available, your guide will introduce you some places to have dinner )
► Return to Taichung HSR Station.

Before deciding to explore this kind of travel, please read:
► Some of the accommodations are local, simple and basic B&B. If you are expecting hotels with facilities, this kind of experience is not for you. There are not many hotels located in indigenous and rural areas. In these areas, accommodation will mostly be in family-run guesthouses. In other areas, we can provide also 4* and 5* hotels on request (Taroko, Alishan, Sun Moon Lake).► These tours are not synonyms of “cheap”; the price we are proposing involves many efforts to be made in advance, during and after your trip.►You will need to bring along enough New Taiwan Dollar (NT$) in cash, as credit cards are rarely accepted and there are very few ATMs or banks.► Basic medical care and first aid is usually available but there is rarely a pharmacy. So, bring along an ample supply of all necessary prescription and over-the-counter medication.► Familiar food can be difficult to find and very local food can be sometimes served, please be ready to accept different/unknown flavors and if you need to refuse, be polite while doing it.► Taking photos is not a problem in most of the cases, but respect the privacy.► Taiwan’s indigenous tribes have had contact with the outside world and mainstream society for a long time. Even in their villages, they mostly live in modern houses and dress in modern clothing.

Price includes:
- Transportation from Taichung HSR or hotel;
- 2 nights as mentioned in the program;
- English speaking licensed guide and expert in the indigenous culture of Taiwan.
- Guide and driver expenses ( overnight, meals, fuel,. parking, ETC … )

- To confirm the reservation a deposit of 30% is required, final payment has to be done at least one week before the tour starts.
- These prices are not valid during High season and National holidays.
